Sweets....gotta love em...I successfully avoided all Halloween candy this past month...and I am patting myself on the back as of right now...the only sweets I remember having were at my work Halloween party...I have honestly been way too busy to crave them and with my new insanity diet where I am eating anywhere from 1600 to 1900 cals a day...I honestly haven't wanted any....So I give myself a high five for that too....
Scriptures...I was doing real well right before we moved...sad day...and I haven't been reading since our move in...so I was good for about 20 days I would assume...and same with the prayers...
Church and temple...was a no go....With working 7 days a week...it is kind of hard to find time....
Oh and I have lost about 4.5 lbs on insanity...not bad for a month...it was actually more...more like 9 lbs...but Halloween kind of ruined that lol!

March Summary.
Well it is another new month and what better April fools day then to have spring for a couple days and then a huge snow storm....I think this happens almost every year you would think I would just get used to it.
Goal Summary:
-Read the Scriptures all 31 days of March!!! Booya!
-Prayed 30 out of 31 days! woohoo!
-Went to the temple only 1 time
-Went to church only one time (i know I suck)
-Sweets....avoided sweets 22/31 days (bad month for some reason)
Other updates:
-getting ready to run some half marathons this year- so far I have gotten my miles up to 6 with a good pace...in fact my nike + keeps telling me I am running at a pace between 8 and 9 minutes...either it has a glich or I am getting faster due to P90X and losing weight
-I have worn my skinny jeans once in the last month...still a little tight but almost there about 5-10 lbs more and I will be satisfied
-still haven't weighed myself
- Getting excited to go to Vegas in 2 mos and then a cruise in August
- Have two bridal showers to throw this year and at least 2 baby showers to throw although I know probably 20 people who are prego right now (if not more)
-I am totally running the Red Rock relay in September with a friend from my lab! 15 miles here I come! I will get to see Zions national park and stuff and I am so excited!!!!
Well I hope everyone is ready for an awesome weekend of Conference which I am going to count as attending church...for my goals....cuz I suck...and then there is Easter on Sunday...i am planning on making lamb, but we shall see what happens as we no longer have a home of our own...living with friends and Family until Andy moves to Utah...so we can save some moneys....well that is all for now!!!

This past weekend.
I have really missed Visiting Teaching. It was fun to finally go visiting teaching for the first time in months yesterday. It is also fun to visit with people who are much are older than you....different life experiences and fun conversations.
My mom and I made oatmeal honey wheat bread to bring to our sisters:
2 cups milk
1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats (not quick-cooking) plus additional for topping if desired
1/2 cup warm water (105-115°F)
2 Tbsp active dry yeast
1/3 cup mild honey
1 Tbsp molasses
1/2 stick (1/4 cup) unsalted butter, melted and cooled, plus additional for buttering pans
5 cups white whole-wheat flour
1 tablespoon salt
Vegetable oil for oiling bowl
1 large egg, lightly beaten with 1 tablespoon water (optional)
Special equipment: 2 (8- by 4-inch) loaf pans
Heat milk in a 1 1/2- to 2-quart saucepan over low heat until hot but not boiling, then remove pan from heat and stir in oats. Let stand, uncovered, stirring occasionally, until cooled to warm.
Stir together water, yeast, and 1 teaspoon honey in a small bowl; let stand until foamy, 5 minutes. (If mixture doesn’t foam, discard and start over with new yeast.) Stir yeast mixture, melted butter, molasses and remaining honey into cooled oatmeal.
Combine ingredients in stand mixer with wooden spoon, then knead with bread hook 5-7 minutes.Form dough into a ball and transfer to an oiled large bowl, turning to coat. Cover bowl loosely with plastic wrap and a kitchen towel; let rise at warm room temperature until doubled in bulk, 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
Lightly butter loaf pans. Turn out dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead several times to remove air. Divide dough in half and shape each half into a loaf, then place 1 loaf in each buttered pan, seam side down, tucking ends gently to fit. Cover loaf pans loosely with a kitchen towel and let dough rise in a draft-free place at warm room temperature until doubled in bulk, about 1 hour.
Put oven rack in middle position and preheat oven to 375°F. If desired, lightly brush tops of loaves with some of egg wash and sprinkle with oats. Bake until bread is golden and loaves sound hollow when tapped on bottom, 35 to 40 minutes. (Remove 1 loaf from pan to test for doneness. Run a knife around edge of pan to loosen.) Remove bread from pans and transfer to a rack to cool completely, about 1 1/2 hours.
Bread keeps, wrapped in plastic wrap at room temperature, 4 days.
What else did I do this weekend....
-Friday night I visited with my friend Janet from BYU and we went and saw Leap Year- cute movie
-Saturday after working out and cleaning I went out to lunch with my friends Talina and Jason from BYU
-I went to the Draper temple and did a session
-Dropped by the library to pick up a book that was on hold
-Went to Costco and order a cake and bought some things
-Went home and started the bread making process
-Sunday we finished the bread and went to church and then Visiting teaching
-We still have two more sisters to visit- we have four assigned to us which is new to me
-And then I spent the rest of the weekend reading the last book of the Mistborn trilogy called Hero of ages- really good trilogy by the way
-In my spare time I missed my husband....I am so excited to see him this upcoming weekend.

February Summary
Summary of my goals:
-read my scriptures 27/28 days
-prayed 26/28 days
-went to the temple twice
-went to church 2/4 Sundays
-Avoided sweets 26/28 days (stupid birthday parties near my period!)
All in all I think I am doing pretty dang good!!! Most of my clothes fit again....I just have 3 pairs of pants I can't wear....the jeans Katie gave me I do not think I will ever fit into....Katie you have not butt....mine won't shrink and thus a dilemma ;), I have a pair of slacks I bought months ago without ever trying them on and I can almost do them up, and my skinny jeans I can put on and do up, but they still feel a little tight...based on how my clothes are fitting I am guessing I have lost about 30 lbs...with about 10 more to go....because I have not been weighing myself which takes off a lot of stress....
This month I am going to be adding a new calling and Visiting teaching which I have just received as further goals to work on.
BTW- I completely finished the bible!!!! Finally!!! This happened about a week or two ago...but I was waiting to post the news.

Isn't this bizarre?
I was reading in Timothy in the New testament and came across this:
1 Timothy chapter 2
1 Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, 2 for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. 3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, 4 who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. 5 For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, 6 who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time, 7 for which I was appointed a preacher and an apostle--I am speaking the truth in Christ and not lying--a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth. 8 I desire therefore that the men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting; 9 in like manner also, that the women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with propriety and moderation, not with braided hair or gold or pearls or costly clothing, 10 but, which is proper for women professing godliness, with good works. 11 Let a woman learn in silence with all submission. 12 And I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man, but to be in silence. 13 For Adam was formed first, then Eve. 14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived, fell into transgression. 15 Nevertheless she will be saved in childbearing if they continue in faith, love, and holiness, with self-control.
(the bold passage)Kind of "different" right? Who knew that prophets could be sexist. I talked about it with several people and they all said the same thing- that it was a different time back then and women were treated very poorly....this just emphasizes that although a person may hold high callings- we are all human and are capable of making mistakes...even a prophet of the Lord is not perfect..only the savior is....
I do, however, see where a lot of religions come from now....however, I do not believe that people should be held accountable for someone else's sins...
(the italicized passage) I am not sure whether to take comfort in this and feel peace that "oh goody I will be saved by bearing children" or "drat, I have to bear children to be saved"....not sure...I have mixed feelings...

Valentines Weekend.
It started out wonderful with my bosses giving me an extra 1.5 days off of work because I had nothing to do! However, I couldn't even leave until late Thursday night because I had to teach Zumba at 8pm which turned out to be a waste of time because only two people came. I then drove up to Idaho and got to hang out with my hubby for 4 days!!!! We saw Wolfman (kind of cheesy), hung out with friends and family, stayed in Lava overnight, ate Thai food, soaked in the pools, and just chillaxed. It was wonderful and really hard to want to come back I must say. I miss my husband, but we desperately need the money. I am planning on having a really busy rest of the week as far as work goes. I am going to go pick up my column at some point today. I might go to the temple tonight, Friday night and Saturday...we shall see...I forsee myself being incredibly exhausted tonight.....I teach Zumba Wednesday and Thursday and I have an appointment in Bountiful on Saturday. I hope time continues to go by fast....As far as the New Testament goes, I have 120 pages left!!! I have finally almost completed this goal!!! I hope one day I will have a normal job with a normal schedule....Well anyway...that's my weekend in a nutshell!

Randomness
You know, I am so glad I set the goal to read all of the scriptures including the Old and New testament. I have found that I am really enjoying the New testament, mainly because I know a lot of the stories because I was raised on them. It is just so cool to finally be reading them myself.
Oh and I had a meeting with the Bishop yesterday...he wanted to get an idea of what my schedule was like and what kind of callings I would be willing to serve in....I have never been asked my opinion before and this was a new experience...kind of funny really...when I first started in this ward in January I submitted a new member form complete with past callings, talents, etc...and I even put down my request to please not be given a calling that has anything to do with children under the age of Young Women's....I guess it was never read because the first thing the bishop asked was whether I would be willing to help with Primary. I was nodding my head yes until he said the word Primary to which I adamantly refused and told him my history of daycare and how I am struggling with wanting my own children and felt that Primary would only influence my decision in a negative direction. So I might be helping with Relief Society activities instead...As long as it fits around my schedule of Working 50-70 hours a week and me being gone every other weekend....LOL...poor bishop....
Need some input....to buy a house or not to buy a house...that is the question. As some of you might be aware the government is offering an extra $8000.00 to people who buy a house by May. I want a house desperately. My husband thinks that we should wait until we know for sure that we are going to be staying in Utah. As far as I am concerned we are going to be here for at least 2 years with me just working and then I will probably transfer over to do the PhD in Pharmaceutical chemistry (another 3-4 years after working for 2)....and plus if the company that I am working for becomes successful I will be up for serious promotions.....regardless, we are here for a minimum of two years....the down side to being in Utah...I hate snow....I feel as though Utah is saturated with fake people...and then of course it is also saturated with family which is only a problem when they expect us to go out of our way for them just because they are family....I do not like being taken advantage of or having my boundaries stretched simply because they are family...don't get me wrong...I love them all so very much...I just was raised differently and crave an adventure far from where family can reach us....And Andy really doesn't enjoy being in Utah mainly due to the overpopulation of people in our religion...he loves the fact that he is near family...but he feels as though he won't be able to succeed in Utah....And there is our dilemma.....Andy feels bad about saying no because I want a house so bad, but neither of us want to really be in Utah anyway....but I see no other option as I am the one bringing home the bacon at the moment.....this stinks....
But....I get to See Andy in 2 days!!!! He is coming down to go to the Lakers vs. the Jazz basketball game with the tickets I got for him for Christmas...and then I go up to Idaho in Friday and get to spend the three-day weekend with my man....sigh...I can't wait for this to be over.

Really?!
That was a low blow Lord....a really low blow....
Reading once again in the scriptures (sick of these posts yet?) I encountered the following:
Mark 9:36-37
"And he took a child, and set him in the midst of them: and when he had taken him in his arms, he said unto them, Whosoever shall receive one of such children in my name, receiveth me: and whosoever shall receive me, receiveth not me, but him that sent me."
So if we reverse what he said it should sound something like: Whosoever shall not receive one of such children in my name, does not receive me or he that sent me....
You all know my struggle with wanting to have children...in fact I am downright stubborn about it....I just felt reprimanded once again by the Lord....and like he was telling me if I refuse to have children then I am, in a sense, refusing the Lord....sigh.....but I am not ready :(

January Summary.
Goal Progress:
-successfully avoided sweets for 31 days (did have sugar free jello and sugar free pudding occasionally)
-Read my scriptures 24 out of 31 days and finished the Old testament
-Attended the temple 3 times
-Only made it to church 2 out of the 5 Sundays....I don't wake up when I am in Pocatello- got a warm hunk sleeping next to me and he is just to dang cuddly
-Prayed 26 out of the 31 days and prayed twice a day on two of those days
Other permanent goals:
-exercised 25 out of the 31 days (P90x, running, Zumba, yoga, etc) so on average about 6 days a week
-am gradually getting smaller and fitting into my clothes again- I am back into my 6's...about 1 or 2 months and I will be back down to normal I think
-eating around 1200-1500 calories a day and getting veggies at least once if not twice a day
-eating 5-6 small meals a day
-drinking tons of water....I have been pretty good at this for years
-been pretty good at not eating past 7:30 pm
-I have not weighed myself since before Christmas! This is a huge accomplishment for me...it is kind of funny, I was reading a magazine last night that was recommending people weight themselves every day....all I could think was well if you don't have a history of eating disorders that might be ok, but for people like me....avoiding the scale is more healthy
-bought a new car...yup we did it...I feel totally frivolous, but we needed a second car and it was exactly what Andy wanted...except for the color and the mileage...it's a red 2006 Honda Civic sport addition with stick shift and 6 gears...gets 30 mpg and has a $5000 speaker system in it complete with GPS, DVD player, Itunes compatibility and so on and so forth...my husband is SPOILED....i told him when he gets a job that at least doubles our salary...i am upgrading the Camry to a hybrid.....

Almost done.
I have exactly 36 pages left of the Old Testament. Nice!
Some thoughts from the weekend....
Hosea 6:4 "for your goodness is as a morning cloud and as the early dew it goeth away"
What this scripture says to me (he is talking about the tribes of Israel by the way but it is still applicable) is that there are those who only are true to their religion behind closed doors or when no one is around, but in the public they are completely different person and not necessarily a good one either...some of you may have heard the phrases "Sunday Mormon"s or "Christmas and Easter Catholics"....meaning they go through the motions once a week or on special occasions, but as far as every day life goes...they do not live to the standards that they should...I have been thinking about this a lot lately as I am in living in Utah again and there is a huge problem with "Sunday Mormons" (in my opinion- and especially on the road). Everyone knows that Utah is heavily populated with people who are LDS ( I myself am). You would assume that people would be a little more Christ-like on the road....yeah right....I have decided that Utah drivers are probably some of the rudest people I have met in my life and it causes me to mutter a variety of obscene terms on my way to work every morning. I am not perfect either...far from it....I have a lot of things to work on, but at least I try to be kind on the road if not for anything else but to prevent accidents....it is just so frustrating!!! Well anyway, for those of you who read my blog I highly encourage you to be more aware of your actions no matter what religion....actions speak louder than words, and it is your actions that show your true spirit despite what you may or may not do on Sunday. This is yet another thing I am going to work on myself.
Further in Hosea...chapter 7 to be exact I was reading about some very interesting analogies....they used baking analogies....for anyone who is bored enough I dare you to read it and let me know your thoughts on what he is trying to say...I mean I understand the jist (he is frustrated with the people of Israel and their constant failures), but what exactly is he referring to when he uses those baking analogies.... and Katie G. if you are reading this...I appreciated your comments on my last religious post!

Ok, Ok...
Just to give a little background as to why I decided to set some religious goals and actually achieve them.
I went to the temple the other day to do initiatory work and was reading in the old testament where I assumed I had left off at home (which by the way I only have 160 pages left of the OT- not bad after working on this goals for 6 years :)), I happened on the scripture Jeremiah 31:22...which basically felt like the Lord was reprimanding me for being such a slacker...lol....go ahead and read and you will see why...especially since I use my husband or other things in my life as excuses to not do those things which are good for me....so there you have it the reason I have decided to buckle down and achieve some things. I have finished Jeremiah in the OT since then and will start reading Lamentations tomorrow.
Some other scriptures right in that same area were pretty good too...not as personal but went straight with the lesson in church on Sunday: Jeremiah 31:20 which basically states that we are all God's children and he loves us all no matter our sins; as well as Jeremiah 31:21, which should be coupled with the 31:22 one actually, about setting the highest of goals and working on achieving them....these are only my interpretations of what I read...but I would love to know your thoughts on these scriptures...feel free to comment on them.
On a completely different tangent....I was reading in my journal the other day and happened on an entry from about a year ago from when I went to see the allergenist and just thought it was funny that the doctor told me to never ever live in Dallas Texas and to never own a cat (apparently I am really allergic to some plants in Dallas and also severely allergic to cats). The reason I had this on my mind is that I am currently living with my mom....and she has a cat...lol...so I have not been home much for that and other reasons (work...don't want to get stuck babysitting), but I have noticed the cat and dust off an on...swollen and incredibly itchy eyes are the major symptoms I have experienced but not too bad....I could be broken out all over in hives....and they not go away for a month which has happened before...and I still do not know why...lol...sorry for being so random....well anywho...I am going to edit the previous post because this is just as much of a journal as it is a blog to me...
Oh...one more thing....I spent a ridiculous amount of money on a phone the other day....it is a blackberry 9700.....it has microsoft word, excel, powerpoint, memory storage, internet, music storage and listening ability...etc....but the real reason I got it is: #1- Andy refused to let me get the free upgrade from one nokia to another ( I actually went to t-mobile to get head phones I could talk on without my hands-not blue tooth but they didn't make any for my phone anymore- so I was going to upgrade since I never did that anyway), according to Andy I need to dress to impress, and apparently a phone is part of the package (according to him). I was very apprehensive about this since I have always had nokia's (for the most part)and I find phones to be incredibly frustrating...but so far I have had no problems with this phone
#2-it is GPS- enough said....I get lost all the time....now I am found (lol)

Ah Tuesday.
So I decided while I was in church on Sunday to set a few goals for myself...for those of you who know me, I am kind of a slacker when it comes to the church stuff....I don't know why...because when I do the things I am supposed to do I feel so amazing...well anywho.... All the goals for the year are as follows (religious and non-religious)...
1) go to church at least 3 out four Sundays a month
2)attend one of every kind of "session" I can do at the temples in my surrounding area (go to the temple 1-2 times per month)
3) read my scriptures every day
4) finish the old testament
5) pray at least once a day
6) learn to not speak guile
Other goals
1) lose weight (again)
2) avoid sweets for 10 mos (so far on day 12)
3) work on Spanish
These are all the goals I can remember off the top of my head without my journal present.... I will keep you updated.

Something that I have read lately....
I have been trying to read my scriptures more diligently lately....I was reading the November issue of the ensign (in preparation for visiting teaching) and happened upon the talk Mind The Gap....This quote speaks volumes to me....
"When I left high school, my goals were to attend college for at least a couple of years, get married to a handsome man, and have four perfect, beautiful children (two boys and two girls). My husband was to have a large income so I wouldn’t need to work, and then I planned to do Church and community service. Thankfully, one of my goals was to be an active and faithful member of the Church.
Well, as you may know, many of my goals were not realized in the way I had hoped. I finished college, served a mission, got a job, continued on with my schooling to earn a master’s degree, and continued working in my profession for many years. (I thought marriage was sure to happen 13 years ago when I opened a fortune cookie and read, “You will be married in less than a year.”) But there was no handsome man, no marriage, and no children. Nothing had gone as I had planned except for one thing. I tried to be an active and faithful member of the Church. For this I am most grateful. It has made all the difference in my life."
Wow....Lately I have been looking at my life and realizing I have not ended up where I planned....and everything I "plan" to do either doesn't work out or turns out to be a miserable choice...or so it seems.....it makes me wonder....maybe I should be more prayerful and pay attention to more what the Lord has in store for me versus what I think I should be doing....well anyway...this talk really hit home.....life rarely turns out the way you think it is going to....and as long as I put the proper things first in my life I will experience something more rewarding than I ever could have imagined...even if it wasn't what I thought I wanted.....it seems actually that the whole conference is targeted toward me now that I am reading through it....I get a totally different experience reading the conference talks than I do from hearing them....and it is wonderful....well anyway...that is my thought of the week....

Some lesson.
Well I made it to relief society today- it seems like ages since I have been able to go because of Andy's work schedule. The lesson was on Home teaching/ Visiting teaching which is always a good topic...and yet all I seemed to get out of the lesson was that being a stay-at-home mom stinks....how sad...all the women (since most of them are stay-at-home moms or moms in general) just whined about how much it sucked to be stuck at home with their kids....they would begin their statements with "although children are a blessing..." or "I love my kids but..."; all I could think of the entire time was- "And this is supposed to make me want to have children?" Wow...that is all I have to say...I kind of miss Wymount....mom's seemed happier there...at this rate kids will probably never happen... unless it is an accident....I already know all the down sides to having children...I need to hear the upsides...the statements that make me jealous of people who have kids.....
A shout out to my mom friends! You are all so amazing!!!! I know you have chosen probably the hardest- no wait- the hardest task in life....and yet in some way I know it is the most rewarding....although at this point in my life I cannot see it...all of you mom's you are an inspiration to me...please continue to be an example to me of motherhood so that one day I might want to join you in this struggle of making the world a better place by raising good children....you mom's that are striving to teach your children right from wrong is the reason there is any goodness left on this earth....I love all of you mom's- past, present, and future!

Life Lessons.
Every once in a while Heavenly Father likes to remind us he's still there. Today I was finishing my Christmas shopping, and I made my first stop at Costco. I made my purchases and placed them in the car and then drove to my next stop. I got out of the car and went to grab my purse and that is when I noticed that it was GONE! I tore the car apart hyperventilating and crying. I thought I was going to have a heart attack. So I drove back over to Costco breaking probably at least 10 traffic laws, praying that I would be able to find my purse amidst cursing like a sailor and looked all over the parking lot and in the carts. I then went into Costco bawling and still hyperventilating- I probably looked like a psycho crazy woman too because I was dressed in my workout clothes and my hair was all over the place and frantically asked them if anyone had seen my purse..................................................................................................and some angel HAD turned it in- untouched and in perfect condition! Heavenly Father ANSWERED my prayer!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Even while I was swearing in between!!!!!!!!!
Lessons Learned:
1. The Lord does indeed love us and Hears us as well as answers our prayers.
2. There are some really awesome and kind people out there who have charity enough to help someone like me out.
3. I should probably do my Christmas Shopping earlier- I might have prevented this problem.
3. Grad School actually kills brain cells-it does not make you smarter.

A typical Sunday in the life of Sarah...
Ok...well maybe not typical...but it always seems to be super busy..
8:00 am Got up and tidied up the house- aka wiped down the bathroom and put things away as well as packed lunches for tomorrow and ate breakfast
9:00 am Prepared lesson for The R.S. Ensign lesson on "Courage and being and Example"
11:00 am Started getting ready for church- aka curling hair, makeup, etc.
12:00 pm to 3:00 pm Went to church
3:15 pm Came home and started baking like a mad woman
4:40 pm Went to tithing settlement
5:15 pm Came back home and continued baking like a mad woman
I have prepared Pumpkin Spice Cheesecake Brownies, Dark Chocolate Candy Bar Brownies, and Chocolate Caramel Candy
6:30 pm Decided to write up this post:)
I am so excited for Thanksgiving- The desserts will make their appearance Thanksgiving day. I still have yet to finish my Amish Friendship Bread (which will be ready to be baked on Wednesday), make Caramel Corn ( my secret family recipe-this one on all recipes is pretty similar to the one i have), Darin's Orange Pumpkin Soup (super delicious), possibly make some home made sour dough bread/rolls and maybe even some homemade stuffing. Some family will be getting together with Andy and I to have Thanksgiving together- so I don't need to get a turkey, but I would like to get one just so that we can have lots of turkey left overs...yumm yumm...

Darin’s Orange Pumpkin Soup
* Chunks of fresh pumpkin (~1lb)
* Two medium golden onions
* 8 cloves of garlic
* A good chunk of peeled ginger
* One orange with non-bitter peel
* Milk
* Red bell pepper sautéed in Olive oil
* Apple cider vinegar
* Salt and pepper and brown sugar
* Cinnamon, nutmeg, Garam Masala (recommended-an Indian Seasoning) and a little Turmeric for added color
* Coriander seeds (or mustard seeds)
* Corn
* Toasted pumpkin seeds
* Steam chunks of pumpkin in minimum water for 15 min. then cool with ice cubes. Do not drain the vitamin-containing water.
* Blend up cooled pumpkin, onions, garlic, ginger and chunked orange (with some peel) in blender with enough milk to emulsify.
* Slice a few more thin chips of pumpkin and boil in 1.5 cups of water for 10 min with coriander seeds (or mustard seeds) (can do this with first step)
* Pour in puree and simmer ~10-15 min
* Add salt, vinegar, cinnamon, and nutmeg to taste.
* Add brown sugar to taste (may be about half a cup)
* Garnish with your favorite cheese and toasted pumpkin seeds or pinenuts. And serve with toasted bread.
Oh and I am a little sad about the BYU vs UT game- us Cougars need to learn how to catch a ball and how not to throw it the opposing team- that might help a bit- Although I did get a lot of reading for grad school done during it..so I guess us losing had it's up-side
Well now I must go running to burn off the calories I consumed while baking:) I love baking:)
Then I have another 20 million things to do before I go to bed. My next post should be about our Thanksgiving. I hope everyone has an awesome holiday!
