January Summary.

Goal Progress:
-successfully avoided sweets for 31 days (did have sugar free jello and sugar free pudding occasionally)
-Read my scriptures 24 out of 31 days and finished the Old testament
-Attended the temple 3 times
-Only made it to church 2 out of the 5 Sundays....I don't wake up when I am in Pocatello- got a warm hunk sleeping next to me and he is just to dang cuddly
-Prayed 26 out of the 31 days and prayed twice a day on two of those days

Other permanent goals:
-exercised 25 out of the 31 days (P90x, running, Zumba, yoga, etc) so on average about 6 days a week
-am gradually getting smaller and fitting into my clothes again- I am back into my 6's...about 1 or 2 months and I will be back down to normal I think
-eating around 1200-1500 calories a day and getting veggies at least once if not twice a day
-eating 5-6 small meals a day
-drinking tons of water....I have been pretty good at this for years
-been pretty good at not eating past 7:30 pm
-I have not weighed myself since before Christmas! This is a huge accomplishment for me...it is kind of funny, I was reading a magazine last night that was recommending people weight themselves every day....all I could think was well if you don't have a history of eating disorders that might be ok, but for people like me....avoiding the scale is more healthy
-bought a new car...yup we did it...I feel totally frivolous, but we needed a second car and it was exactly what Andy wanted...except for the color and the mileage...it's a red 2006 Honda Civic sport addition with stick shift and 6 gears...gets 30 mpg and has a $5000 speaker system in it complete with GPS, DVD player, Itunes compatibility and so on and so forth...my husband is SPOILED....i told him when he gets a job that at least doubles our salary...i am upgrading the Camry to a hybrid.....

You are so great! I agree with you about scales--you shouldn't be losing a noticeable difference every day. If you are, that's too fast. Way to be on top of your goals!
