Oatmeal wheat bread
I made this bread this weekend...I forgot to add the salt so I accidentally made low sodium bread and it is way tasty! I also used bestlife instead of butter and I used 3.5 cups of a white bred mix plus 2.5 cups whole wheat flour...I am trying to use up random stuff I have in the house...I used olive oil instead of vegetable oil and skim milk....I could have replaced the 1 egg with 1/4 cup egg beaters most likely but I didn't....so check out the nutrition facts!
per loaf:

You can divide up the loaf as you see fit....I am thinking you should be able to get at least 20 slices per loaf
I am also trying out bestlife buttery baking sticks
no trans fat
less sat fat than butter
lower calorie and fat
no cholesterol
and lower sodium than salted butter although I usually by salt free butter
doesn't have a bad flavor
not sure if it better for you than butter...but I figure I need to give new things a try

I bought some of the bestlife butter at walmart (I was looking for plain old light butter but they didn't have any) and I'm having a lot of trouble using it in my diet cookies. Whenever I use light butter or nut butter and follow the recipe on my blog, it works fine, but with the bestlife stuff, I ALWAYS end up with clumps no matter what I do!!!
I was just wondering if it was only me...
