A series of unfortunate events (a true story)

Once upon a time there was this couple name Andy and Sarah. Andy is going to school back at ISU and Sarah is finishing her M.S. at BYU. Andy comes down every other weekend to see his wife and spend as much time together as possible. On his first weekend back (the first three day weekend in January) they arrived home together after Andy got a haircut and Sarah finished working and noticed an eviction notice on their front door from Wymount. "What is this?!" exclaimed Sarah. It appeared that because they didn't switch the account to be under Sarah's name that Wymount decided to kick them out- by the 31st of January. So Andy and Sarah both tried to call the housing department, but of course no one answered because they closed at 5pm and it was 6pm, plus it was a three day weekend so they couldn't get a hold of anyone until Tuesday. So they tried contacting the housing department through the email perspective and did that twice. They still do not know if the problem is fixed...and Sarah cannot be kicked out of Wymount so hopefully the problem will get fixed. After eating dinner and going out to the movies, the couple then went to Blockbuster to turn in one of the replacement movies that they had received from Amazon ( their car had been robbed just the week before and four movies rented from blockbuster stolen as well as their bike and hubcaps on their car- all at different times not related to the car robbing but all either at Wymount or on BYU campus itself)and to check out a few movies to keep them up a little longer hanging out together. The next day, Sarah went to the gym and then to the lab because her slave driver of a professor wanted her in the lab the weekend her hubby was in town- so she snuck in- did 5 minutes worth of work and snuck out so she wouldn't have to spend the whole day there. Afterwards she came home to her hubby and they got ready to go to friends BBQ. They went to the BBQ and had a blast eating jalapeno cheddar bread, chips, steak, and sauteed mushrooms. They of course brought drinks and chips. The group were supposed to go to a Hockey game but then found out there were no games being played at all and had to find something else to do- so they decided to go buy tickets to see Mall Cop. So they reloaded their car (dropping the box of cokes twice on the way and exploding one can for sure...and drove off to the movies. They purchased their tickets and went on to further run errands. They went to FYE and return some movies they had purchased that apparently they already owned as well as a video game Andy was done playing. Then they went to Blockbuster and returned the rest of the movies that came from Amazon so they could be done with the car robbery/video thief problem. They then went to the mall and wandered around- got some new shoes for Andy and headed for the movies where they had to stand in a super huge line even with tickets to see Mall Cop. The movie was ok. After the movie they decided they wanted a snack- a sweet snack and so despite the cold- they headed to Albertsons to buy some ice cream. They get there and decide that the dryers Butterfinger ice cream would totally hit the spot. They head home and get ready to enjoy their treat- they open up the container and it was already half eaten... "Gross!" exclaimed Sarah. Andy and Sarah got bundled back up and headed back to Albertsons. They showed the already half consumed ice cream to one of the checker outer people and headed back to get a replacement. All of this particular ice cream had apparently been attacked. All four containers of what was left of this ice cream were half eaten. Andy and Sarah took those containers to the grocer so that some one else would not have the same problem when they came in jonesing for some ice cream and opted for another flavor the Samoa girl scout cookie ice cream. They took their ice cream home enjoyed it and watched movies and fell asleep.....and then didn't wake up for church....this my friends is the definition of a series of unfortunate events.

Eeeyikes! What a terrible, no good weekend. I'm sure all the Wymount jazz will work out, I'll cross my fingers. And, on the bright side, the ice cream thief kind of did you a favor, because Samoa ice cream is so much better than Butterfinger, let's just be honest here! :)

Wow....What a story! That stinks about all the unfortunate events that keep happening. The Ice cream story is gross, but slightly humorous. The stealing is definitely not funny. And missing church today, well.. you can join the club on that one, cause I didn't go either. lol
I hope this next week is better for you! We miss you guys!
