I just began an application to start grad school at the University of Utah in January of 2012.
I really must be insane.
I figure if I am going to work like a grad student I might as well get the PhD with it.
My company supports me fully working full time as their employee and being a part time student.
I would have to pay my own tuition though.
I can't afford to be a full time grad student again.
It is more affordable to work full time and be a part time student than the other way around.
I just calculated that in the last year and 3 months I have worked an extra 80 (8 hour) days. This is based on an average of 50 hours a week for the last year and 3 months.
Crazy.
Also I talked to my company about how I feel I am being mistreated and having jobs that are not my responsibility thrown at me.
They support me putting my foot down and saying no as well.
I wish I could have the president of our company as my PI.
He is Awesome.

Go you! I don't know if it's your dream or not, but if you don't like where you are now, find a way to change it, right?
