Stuffed French Toast.

Is very good btw.

In honor of my friend Julie who I haven't seen in years coming to stay the night on her way to visit family, I decided a special breakfast treat was needed...

Here is my version of stuffed french toast:

Ingredients:
(measurements are approximate- you may need to adjust to get the flavor you want)
1 loaf french bread
6 eggs
8 oz cream cheese
3 tbsp sugar
3 tbsp vanilla
3 tbsp milk
1/2 tsp cinnamon
butter

-cut the french bread into thick slices- removing the end pieces.
-mix the cream cheese, sugar and 1/2 of the vanilla together
-cut a slit into each of the french bread pieces and spread the cream cheese thickly in the center
-melt butter in frying pan for cooking
-mix together the eggs, cinnamon, vanilla, and milk
-dip the french bread pieces completely into the egg mixture and place in the frying pan- cook each side for about 3-5 mins or until golden brown on each side
-serve warm with powdered sugar and mixed berries with syrup or honey
