Stuck in a Rut...

Does anyone else ever get bored with their life?! I get up every morning, go to school for 10+ hours, come home and go to bed, and at some point during the day I get some exercise and eat and stuff. My life is just so uneventful, nothing exciting to report and no money to afford to do anything. It is sad and blah and just boring. On a lighter note, I have been applying for jobs and internships like crazy so I might have money to pay my bills one day. I have applied for jobs with the FBI, CDC, Teach For America, a bunch of Chemical companies, and plan to apply to jobs with the military and homeland security. What can I say, I have a weird obsession with fighting terrorism and working for the government as well as self-abuse and torture, but we won't go into that. So that is an update. And sometimes I just feel like this...

being a SAHM gives me cute pictures to post, but otherwise, my days consist of changing diapers, feeding a toddler, cleaning the chaos and mess, changing diapers, feeding a toddler, cleaning the chaos and mess...

somedays you go to bed at night not wanting it to be tomorrow because you'll just have to do the exact same things over again.

other times, you learn to appreciate the little things even more because they're all you've got! we'll come visit you this week. :o)

we miss you guys. it sounds like you're applying to a slew of places. There is a chemistry lab in Austin called DHL Analytics. It is small but I thought that the pace of life would be enjoyable for you guys. I feel like I am in a rut sometimes too with the job hunt but I am certain that there will be light at the end of the tunnel soon for both of us.

I understand your school rut. I'm soooo tired of school and I haven't even got my bachlors yet! Changing my degree when I was a junior was dumb, but I'm glad I did and you will be too. We just have to fight the rut. Now that it's fall rake some leaves and just jump in them like you were 5 years old. That could make you feel better! :- ) You're awesome Sarah!

The picture is hilarious! I think we all get stuck in those ruts sometimes. I like what your friend Meg said about learning to appreciate little things more because they're all you've got. So true! That's something I need to work on. :)
