100 Random things about me with pictures from my childhood:
1. I was born in San Jose California.
2. My earliest memory is of my grandpa pushing me in the swing when I was either 6 or 9 months old.
3. I love sweets too much, but am not a big fan of most hard candies.
4. I have had the goal of getting bachelors, masters and PhD since I was 5 years old.
5. I was on the pre-olympic swim team when I was a child in California, so it is pretty interesting watching the olympics and thinking to myself "wow- this could have been me".
6. I am a neat freak, but hate dusting.
7. I love rice and chicken.
8. My parents are divorced, and that happened in 1995.
9. I love to exercise and get such a good work out that I am sore for a few days.
10. I have studied Spanish, Latin and Greek.
11. I enjoy dancing and singing and always dreamed of being on Broadway but do not have a strong enough voice to pursue it.
12. I took dance lessons from the time I was four until we moved to Provo and I have lost so many of my abilities because I do not have time to dance anymore. I have tried all sorts of dance styles: Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Hip Hop, Tap, Clogging, Latin and Swing, and belly dancing.
13. When I have time to dance again, I would like to do ballroom and bellydancing.
14. I have to be busy at all times- otherwise I get depressed.
15. I love to read and can read pretty much anything, but typically I prefer action, mystery, science-fiction and horror.
16. I have lived in 5 states: California, Idaho, Oregon, Washington, and Utah.
17. I don't want to live in Idaho or Utah for the rest of my life.
18. I like to research healthy ways of living and apply them to my life.
19. I love to cook and bake and learn new recipes- but right now I do not have enough time.
20. When I was little, my family had a restaurant. I would clean the tables and plug my nose around the smokers and tell them they were going to die- I was like 4 or 5 and my mom used to smoke until she had my sister.
21. I love to sleep and 9 hours is perfect for me.
22. I used to love doing Chemistry and research, but have burned myself out on it all together.
23. I love a challenge and enjoy fulfilling goals.
24. I like keeping lists.
25. I swear I am losing my mind- I keep forgetting what I am doing and put things away in strange places.
26. I don't really like pasta or sandwiches, but will et them occasionally
27. I got in a car accident June 2005 and ever since then I have had neck problems and have not been really able to enjoy roller coasters without getting migraines.
28. I have had headache problems ever since I was a little girl- it's partially genetic. Also, when I was a child, my arm would get yanked out of the socket all the time- now I have permanent knots in my shoulders.
29. Pretty much everything upsets my stomach- I have become lactose intolerant and my body has never really liked processed foods.
30. When I was five I almost went blind in one of my eyes and so I had to start wearing an eye patch over my functioning eye in order for my weak eye to get stronger. I was labeled slow because of this and I think a lot of what I put myself through is to prove to people that "I can"- subconsciously.
31. I had horrible glasses as a child and now I don't even need to wear my contacts- I just need to wear my glasses when my eyes are tired and that's it. I am also really thankful that my Uncle paid for me to have braces.
32. My mom dyed my hair black a few times when I was a child so I could be snow white for Halloween and a play. I have also had like 5 perms in my lifetime and really do not like perms anymore.
33. I hate cell phones and talking on the phone with people.
34. Some of my pet peeves are: when people don't throw their garbage away, telling me to do something I was already planning on doing, being talked down to or not being treated with respect, guilt trips and being ignored.
35. I am sort of jack of all trades- as a child I was on the swim, cheer leading, and soccer teams, took horse back riding (I am afraid of horses too), skating, piano, violin, guitar, gymnastics, dance, Karate, tennis, and vocal lessons. I was also involved in competitive bowling and theater.
36. As much as I love to sing and dance and compete in pageants, I have terrible stage fright. The only time I have not had stage fright was when I was Carrie Peppridge in the Musical Carousel. We had practiced it so much that I was no longer scared to perform even though I got strep throat for my first time in my life and lost my voice for opening night. I have been in 8 theatrical/musical performances: The 3 billy goats gruff, HMS Pennifor, Mozart, Popflies and Petticoats, religious one about Easter, Snow white, Something about a ghost- Readers theater, and Carousel.
37. My favorite flower is the snap dragon.
38. I do not like soda- I pretty much only drink water.
39. I used to despise running.
40. I used to want to be a writer( I used to write stories ad poems like crazy-I even had one of my poems published when I was 11- until High School killed my desire to write), a doctor, a singer, a teacher, an archaeologist, a physical therapist, a pharmacist, or a model. I still do not know what I want to do except travel.
41. I love to get pedicures, but have only had maybe five in my life- My toes have been painted consistently since I was a Junior in high School-so for 8 years- I do not even know what my toes look like without nail polish anymore.
42. I used to be extremely frugal, but right now I don't care.
43. I love to Multi-task and see how many things I can do at once.
44. I am deeply in-love with my husband and knew I was going to marry him before we ever dated.
45. I can't wait to be married to my husband longer than I was single.
46. I have always had a strange attraction to baseball players and married one.
47. I struggled with eating disorders most of high school and my bachelors degree and would really like to spend some time in my life helping others get through eating disorders.
48. I tried being vegetarian and a vegan. I was only vegan for maybe 6 months, but vegetarian for about 4 years.
49. When I was 11 I swore I would never have kids....but I might reconsider, my husband would be such a wonderful father.
50. I am kind of a perfectionist and like things to be planned out at all times- I cannot function if there is not a plan.
51. I converted to being LDS when I was 18 or the fall of my first year at college- before that I was Lutheran. My dad's side of the family is Jewish and came to America during World War II.
52. I like to go all out on things, otherwise I feel self conscious.
53. Me and my sister are 41/2 years apart and was my Christmas present. I have a baby sister who is adopted and will be turning 5 in September.
54. I love Disneyland and would love to go to Disneyworld some day.
55. My favorite seasons are Autumn and Spring- I really do not like Winter and Summer.
56. I have always loved going to school. When I was sick as a child my family had to force me to stay home from school- I hated not going- also they would have to force me to stay home from birthday parties- I really loved cake.
57. I really do not get too sick. I have lost my voice a few times and have had the flu really bad once. Usually the only ailment I have is headaches and an upset stomach.
58. When I was 2 my mom caught me eating pincher bugs which I think we both thought were raisins.
59. I got drunk once....when I was 2 or 3. I remember being in a bar during the day- it was a going away party...I remember going around and sipping peoples drinks- I do not remember walking into the rat trap though.
60. I was obsessed with cats as a child- I even thought I was a cat for a few years, but now I am allergic to cats.
61. I was born with a smile and mewing like a kitten.
62. I don't like to share. My mom gave me a bag of M&M's once when I was a child and asked me if I would share. I took out one M&M and chopped it in half and gave it to my mom.
63. I graduated Valedictorian from my high school. I learned about being Valedictorian from a book that I read when I was in the 6th grade and ever since then wanted to be Valedictorian myself.
64. I was nominated Homecoming Duchess, Prom Princess, and Homecoming Queen second attendant in High School. I was also voted 'Most likely to Succeed' and 'Most Intelligent' but they could only give me one and I got more votes for 'Most likely to Succeed' so they gave me that one in the yearbook- right now I wish they had voted me 'Most Intelligent' instead- not as much pressure for when I attend a high school reunion, if I attend one.
65. I participated in Junior Miss and Miss Pocatello. I won Miss Photogenic for Junior Miss and nothing at Miss Pocatello. I do not Even have any pictures of me participating in Miss Pocatello.
66. I developed allergies to the outdoors after I moved to Utah.
67. I do not like being like everyone else- I like being unique.
68. I hate feeling trapped- it makes me angry.
69. Andy and I do not fight- we are both pretty easy going with each other.
70. When I was a kid I would try to be a comedian and hoped someone would video tape me and send it in to America's funniest home video's.
71. I can fit my whole fist in my mouth and touch my tongue to my nose.
72. I love vegetables- especially green beans and broccoli.
73. I do not like to teach or watch people's kids.
74. Until I decide I really like someone, I have a huge personal bubble and I do not like it when people "borrow" my things without asking and never return them.
75. I really want to sky dive one day.
76. I was obsessed with glitter in high school and when I got married put some in the wedding invitations as a trade mark and to annoy people just for fun.
77. I still have most of the formal dresses I wore in high school- I sold 2 of them to help pay for the wedding.
78. My first car was a 1988 Pontiac Bonneville which I paid for in cash. My second car was a 1990 Ford explorer which I bid on and paid for in cash as well. Neither of these cars can be driven on the free way.
79. My first dog's name was Diggy- we got him before I was born. He taught me how to walk and died when I was 5. I was heart broken and haven't been attached to a dog in the same way since- I even wrote a poem for him.
80. I used to be an avid scrap booker, but am pretty burnt out on the craft- I guess I have transformed it to blogging.
81. I have kept a Journal since I was 5- although it wasn't very consistent until I was like in 5th grade.
82. Fake people and cocky people really get on my nerves- I just want to punch them in the face.
83. I can be extremely quiet or extremely talkative- it depends on the company I am with.
84. I used to be really shy- even around people I considered close friends.
85. If you give me a pack of gum- I will probably chew the whole thing in one day.
86. I love to wear flip flops.
87. It's really hard for me to make a decision and once I do it is near impossible for someone to change my mind.
88. I do not like to cry- it makes me feel weak- I think I have cried maybe 3 times in the past 3 years.
89. I have never broken a bone or had a serious injury of any sort.
90. My mom says that as a child she could place me in a white outfit in the dirtiest place possible and still leave in a white outfit with no stains.
91. I have always been very modest- when I had to go to the doctor I would wear an undershirt so that I wouldn't be naked when they checked my heart and lungs and stuff- I was only like 3 or 4 too and had nothing to show. That being said- for my 18th birthday I got my belly button pierced, but 2 months after I joined the church I removed it- I didn't feel worthy to get my patriarchal blessing or a temple recommend with it.
92. I would throw a huge tantrum when I had to go to preschool or get shots from the doctor.
93. I loved to play with my little sister- we would set up carnivals in the backyard for our dolls and keep busy the entire day just in our imaginations.
94. I like crafty things and anything that relates to it.
95. I own a lot of clothes and do not even wear half of them. I have even gotten rid of 5 trash bags full of clothes since I have been married and I still have a lot.
96. I hate being left out and leaving people out.
97. I spent more time studying in high school and in college than doing anything fun. Funny Fact- My favorite and bests subjects were always spelling, English and language, but when I took a standardized test, I always would do better on the science and math sections.
98. I have worked in my mom's daycare, in a telecommunications center, in a gym, as a lifeguard and head lifeguard, in a law firm, as a researcher and a tutor.
99. I am tired of working and school and am ready for some sort of break.
100. I am a pretty open person and more than willing to share my life experiences to help someone else out.

Wow, that was fun to read! I knew alot of it, but alot of it was new to me too.
Wow! You're amazing! Who knew all those things? It seems like way too much for one person to have accomplished in not-very-many years.
P.S. I love your dark hair! No wonder you were "Miss Photogenic."
Did you ever think that maybe we didn't get along in high school because we are so much like eachother?

I suddenly understand why in highschool we mostly hung out when we were doing calculus homework. lol. busy busy busy. You're awesome.
