Thanksgiving

Well Thanksgiving has come and gone and Christmas is fast on its way. So I figured I should probably post about Thanksgiving. We did Thanksgiving here in Utah, even though it was my mom's turn, because I had to work the day before and after and had no desire to drive up to Poky for only one day. So on that lovely Thursday we got up and drove over to Andy's cousin's house where a lot of Family joined us- including some more of Andy's cousins his parents and some of his Aunts and Uncles as well as my Mom and sisters. In Andy's family it is tradition to go play football before the big feast. The boys went and had a blast blowing off some testosterone while us women prepared the food. Here is Andy after the game.

This year I brought stuffing ( as well as the chocolates and cheescake)

Recipe:
Follow the Recipe on the box of Mrs. Cubbison's stuffing
I also added ground sausage and sauted in that the onions, celery, chopped pecans, 1 apple wedged, green onions, dehydrated carrots and Craisins. And while adding into the baking pad I drizzled in some mozarella cheese.

I was nervous, but it turned out pretty good.

Thanksgiving overall was a blast filled with lots of good food: Turkey, cranberry salad, asparagus, salad, masshed potatos n' gravy, sauted peas and onions, rolls, stuffing, and baked sweet potatos. After which it was followed by at least 5 different kinds of pie/desert. We all had a good time and I can't wait until next Thanksgiving!
